Got a new lens…had to test it right? My model couldn’t have been more rude.

Just finished the album…hope you enjoy it!

I love doing head shots and the people I meet are truly unique and always bring something into my life as well.
I am so loving go back to simple times I can’t even begin to tell you!

Love, love, love live music. So when Robin of Loop!Station invited me to see her new band I couldn’t resist. I mean the Boom Boom Room is only mere minutes from my house and I knew the show would be great. This woman is an entertainer through and through and hot too! Catch them if you can so so worth it!!
So I hit the slopes again and I conquered 2 more lifts! One of the most amazing things was taking a Cat to the top of the mountain during sunset. It was just the 5 of us on top of the world! The driver flattened the ground for us then we just walked around and saw the mountains near Tahoe, the lights of Kirkwood, the rose colors of the setting sun. It was all just really beautiful and a bottle of bubbles to top it off with me and the boys. Nice!
I had the total honor last week of photographing the San Jose Ballet that was featuring a performance with Loop!Station a really great local band. I first met them and photographed them probably a couple of years ago now (you can find their music on my website actually!) and they were amazing. It was a whirlwind of different performances that apparently the dancers actually designed themselves. It was so hard to narrow down the hundreds of photos but I am including some of my most fave!!
Ok so here I am again with this new camera just testing it and I thought these were just pretty funny. These are my first shots and well my models were not very cooperative! With all the technology we have today that makes things so simple there is just no excuse to not document your life or those of your kids, pets, friends or anything anymore. The moments are so simple but end up being the best memories and well, these are sure good for a chuckle at the least!

So I generally take a brisk walk every day (sans rain) and decided to take a new camera I got with me. It’s the Nikon Coolpix with touch screen. I admit I did like that Ashton Kutcher advertises it. But I had this old crappy one that has that delayed response. You know you push the button and 54 minutes later you get your photo that is LONG gone. So I had fun with it I must say. Here’s a few outtakes just for kicks!!!!
