The wedding photos not only contain amazingly beautiful images and striking compositions but also have captured the movement, the emotions and the mood. My wife and I recently had our Big Fat Indian Wedding. It was a full 4 day affair and we were so blessed to have Misti as our photographer. We're both very into artistic, funky and stylish art and we immediately fell in love with Misti's work. Misti really became a part of our family during the wedding and my wife and I would never hesitate to ensure we had her as our photographer even if it meant to move our dates around. With four days of wedding festivities we begged her to send us just a couple pictures before we left for the honeymoon....OMG the 2 pictures that she sent both belong on a magazine. Everyone on the island we went to was blown away by these two pictures and all I could think about was the rest of the shots that she was going to have for us when we got back home. She is absolutely amazing and her vision, her professionalism, her style, and her skill as an artist make her a major wow factor. When it was time to choose a photographer for our wedding, all the candidates we interviewed were being held to an extremely
 high standard - the standard you set in our engagement photo session. We talked to practically every photographer in rural Ohio, and none came close to matching your candor, warmth, and ESPECIALLY your talent. We kept coming back to you-saying, €¯if only Misti could photograph our wedding...We were SO thankful when you agreed to make the trek to Ohio to take our pictures. We appreciated your flexibility and your sense of adventure - you were enthusiastic about seeing Gambier, and so helpful during the planning process. When we finally got to Gambier, you were extremely understanding about all the little problems that arise before weddings - from sharing a room to putting up with a lost cab driver - you were the epitome of grace under pressure. During the wedding day, ceremony, and reception, you were absolutely perfect. Your energy and cheer were contagious - you were able to make the bridal party comfortable, and helped them to cut loose and have fun for the camera during the formal photo session. While you were taking candid photos, you were completely discreet and unobtrusive. I think my mother said it best: when she was taking posed photos, she was so sweet and funny - and when she was taking candids, we didn’t even know she was there! The result is clear - pictures of real life, dynamic and honest. Smiles that are genuine, not forced. Moments that went by far too quickly, now captured to be lived over and over again. Looking through our photographs is having all the best parts of our wedding, distilled, at our fingertips. Ohhhhh - another vendor that I absolutely ADORED!!! Not only was she easy to work but she is funny and very easy going, which was helpful for this bride who had NO CLUE how to plan a wedding! I cannot say enough nice things about Misti - when she arrived I knew right away that she was going to capture our day in a very unique and special way. She just has a vibe that puts all confidence in her work even before taking 1 picture! One thing I remember my DH saying after the wedding is 'did the photographer take many pictures? I hardly saw her' - I said 'OF COURSE she did - 100s!!!' The thing about Misti is she is not in your face pointing a camera at you all day - she blends in with the crowd and becomes a part of the event rather than intruding on it - I always saw her from a distance standing back and zooming in! And a side note... she has extreme patience - not only was there 1 professional photographer at my wedding (Misti) there were 2 guests who were also professionals (whew - talk about some back seat drivers!!!) - she was always smiling and taking suggestions even when we all know she didn't need them!
