Wedding Photography by Misti Layne is about exquisite, fashion oriented, fine art wedding photography that captures the essence of the subjects.
Photographing weddings and commitment ceremonies, family portraiture, pregnancy and engagement portraits are all steps in documenting the important events of your life. My experience in fashion and photography and my journalistic and documentary style make for a fresh and exciting look that captures the vibrancy and the special nature of your event. My photographs are not posed (although doing the formals is an absolute but not painful!), capturing the brilliance and sparkle of people naturally. I cherish my personal photo albums more than anything and I hope the photographs we take at your wedding are just the start to documenting all the important events of your life for those generations yet to come.
When we first meet it will be about getting to know you more than discussing my photographs. I want to get to know you both, know about your relationship and what is most important to you when it comes to what you envision for your wedding photography. It is so important for you to trust me as your wedding photographer that when you leave my studio you will have no doubts what so ever about your decision and faith in me. I’m a full time photographer and committed to you and what I do in every way. I don’t shoot weddings every weekend because I wouldn’t be able to do my best and give you the attention you deserve. Each wedding is at least 40 hours from start to finish. My style is boutique and not for the masses.
