Thank you so much for the beautiful photographs of our wedding!

We felt so lucky to have stumbled upon your web site when we were looking for a photographer to take our engagement photos. Neither of us is terribly photogenic, and we were nervous - but you made us feel so comfortable, and we had so much fun that it really shows in the beautiful pictures.

When it was time to choose a photographer for our wedding, all the candidates we interviewed were being held to an extremely high standard - the standard you set in our engagement photo session. We talked to practically every photographer in rural Ohio, and none came close to matching your candor, warmth, and ESPECIALLY your talent. We kept coming back to you - saying, “if only Misti could photograph our wedding...”

We were SO thankful when you agreed to make the trek to Ohio to take our pictures. We appreciated your flexibility and your sense of adventure - you were enthusiastic about seeing Gambier, and so helpful during the planning process. When we finally got to Gambier, you were extremely understanding about all the little problems that arise before weddings - from sharing a room to putting up with a lost cab driver - you were the epitome of grace under pressure.

During the wedding day, ceremony, and reception, you were absolutely perfect. Your energy and cheer were contagious - you were able to make the bridal party comfortable, and helped them to cut loose and have fun for the camera during the formal photo session. While you were taking candid photos, you were completely discreet and unobtrusive. I think my mother said it best: “when she was taking posed photos, she was so sweet and funny - and when she was taking candids, we didn’t even know she was there!”

The result is clear - pictures of real life, dynamic and honest. Smiles that are genuine, not forced. Moments that went by far too quickly, now captured to be lived over and over again. Looking through our photographs is having all the best parts of our wedding, distilled, at our fingertips.
