Deb and Dan opted for a destination wedding in the beautiful city of Geyserville, CA. They decided on a winery experience at deLormimier, which proved to be the perfect spot for their big day. The sun was high, the weather was warm, and the vineyards were gloriously lush.
deLorimier Vineyards is a beautiful and easy spot for an event like Dan and Deb’s. There are open spaces and intimate nooks that is needed for both the guests to feel comfortable and for me, the photographer, to get the shots I’m looking for.
The Vendors
This wedding had a few of my favorite vendors, which puts one at ease when coordinating an event like Deb and Dan’s. It’s hugely important to trust your vendors when it comes to a destination wedding. The bride and groom have to rely on us to make it happen, and happen well.
Deb and Dan’s wedding planner, Isabelle Adams, has been a friend for years and is truly amazing at what she does. She is totally hands on and really knew how to work the deLorimier Vineyards venue. Another favorite is Reverend Peader Dalton. It may be his accent, but his passion for officiating weddings is really apparent. The subtle and intimate things he integrates in his ceremonies are priceless. Then we have Ms. Pat Gibbons, who has been a florist I have sworn by for a long as I can remember. The ceremony flowers, table centerpieces, and Deb’s bouquet were all unique yet blended well together.
Love and Laughter
There were a lot of laughs at this wedding and many came courtesy from the mob kids who attended. Thankfully most parents just let them be, which allowed for priceless images of funny faces and hiding under skirts.
The love of Deb and Dan’s friends and family was obvious and shown by the tears and many laughs of joy that I saw. I am pretty sure we Californian’s showed these East Coast peeps a good time.
Dan and Deb, congratulations on your new marriage.
Wishing you many years of love, laughter, and good wine!
